Rainbow Treasure Box

Treasure Box
Hi friends wishing you a Happy Valentine's day! I made this Altered Box as a Valentine's day gift for my little girl!
Golden Embossing
Though this looks like a simple project I spend a good amount of time stamping [with memento ink pads] and water-coloring [with Akashiya Sai watercolor brush pens ] those little jewelled hearts!
Golden Embossing
Have been seeing ink splattering and spraying quite a lot around the crafting world and tried it for the first time on this project! It was fun but I must say that if I could re do this I wouldn't spritz quite so much ink!
Watercoloring and Ink Splattering
The hearts on the sides of the box were heat embossed golden and then water colored...I think I like these better than the memento ink pad stamped ones on the top of the box.The most fun part of this project was adding the sparkling jewels!!
Supplies : Stamps : Winnie and Walter True clear stamps set
Embossing : Ranger Gold Embossing Powder, Versamark Ink Pad , Ranger Heat Embossing gun
Coloring media : Memento Inks  Pads , Akashiya Sai watercolor brush pens , Camel Transparent Photo Colors

  6. Pretty altered box. Especially like the heat embossing. I have the same feeling that when i spray/spritz I can get too much ink coming out. Have had to do this spraying/spritzing outside and try a distance from the object being sprayed. Happy Valentine's Day! Have a BEE-utiful day!
