I have a guillotine, but can't see the cutting line as it has a plastic guide I can't see through to hold down when I cut, so it's a bit of a nuisance. I really like the guillotine for cutting though, as it's a no blade replacement. I also have the Fiskars original small cutting blade, a nuisance as replacement is required. I still love the convenience of it though for small pieces of paper. It seems I shall HAVE to get the Tonic guillotine some time soon. Thanks for the information.
Faith
xFaith A at Daffodil Cardshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00805570302878762273noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-368451640795162943.post-22444420755725897952017-02-07T13:22:40.143+05:302017-02-07T13:22:40.143+05:30Awesome Post Sonia MA'm..Another one that I ca...Awesome Post Sonia MA'm..Another one that I can refer people to if anyone gets confused which one to buy..:D..Thanks for all the info..
Love
RichaRicha Mauryahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14376948623564215283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-368451640795162943.post-57256537103438826772017-02-02T12:35:09.378+05:302017-02-02T12:35:09.378+05:30Great post Dr Sonia...so detailed, thank you so mu...Great post Dr Sonia...so detailed, thank you so much! I remember how confused i was before i bought a cutter and then i decided to go with the tonic guillotine. It is a great machine and i love it. I also purchased the fiskars cutter for ease of use and for partial cutting but the blades do dull and i suppose thats a big factor. I still like it though coz i can sit and cut small things during the project. With the guillotine i do dedicated cutting standing up, many papers one after another. I feel like i need both. Loved the post mam. This will be useful to so many folks.
Cheers
preetyPreeti D. I also have my first cutter a mini guillotine Ingento 4" x 6" and I still use it. I also have a Stampin' Up trimmer that has an extendable arm to do 12" x 12" with scoring & cutting ability that I use mostly for scrapbook paper since the guillotine style are better for cutting cardstock as opposed to scrapbook; at least that is what I think.
I went to a Stamp Show Sat and bought a new tool, Mini Perfect Layers, that are rulers used with a Rotary Cutter or an Xacto Knife allows you to trim down to 1/16" layer border.
Melissa
"Sunshine HoneyBee"Sunshine HoneyBeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17717139511153610186noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-368451640795162943.post-43353233250650247312017-01-30T09:16:24.394+05:302017-01-30T09:16:24.394+05:30Wow Sonia!
