Spinning Swinging Card
I am lagging behind in posting about a lot of things so this is a catch up post of sorts! I missed out on sharing :My Swinging Spinning quilled card [ my most popular post so far as far as comments are concerned: 150 so far!] got me the " top sister " at the Sisterhood of Crafters. This was a pretty special card- I had made it as a guest DT project ,on a deadline for Crafty JC[ Indian Challenge blog]. Here is the link to the swinging cards tutorial: Swinging Spinning quilled cardMadison of Funky cards also honored me with a guest post on her blog featuring this spinning cards tutorial.Madison is young and dynamic crafter who crafts so very often for a good cause and I was so thrilled when she asked me to do a guest post!
Quilled Princess Card
I was pretty surprised and pleased when my Quilled Princess card came top 3 at Sentimental Sundays Birthday Challenge - if you read the original  post- it was a card which has lots of flaws[ my first stamping card, I allowed my daughter to quill in it ] and I sloppily hand cut many of the quilling strips [hence imperfect quilling] + the orange insert inside the card was jarring- well that card was not my favorite and even though you my loyal readers supported me I never believed it! Well just goes to show that sometimes even if something is not perfect it aint too bad!

And my most favorite news: The simplest of crafts get recognition too!
Shell Carft Angel
Our Shell Craft Angel was featured on Colours Dekor- a fantastic site with awesome ideas and inspiration for the homemaker.
Popsicle Stick Craft- Ladybird
And it was quite thrilling that my daughters Popsicle stick ladybug was featured on Homemaker on a dime- a fantastic site- do check it out for tons of home ideas. My kiddo is too young to understand how many people are appreciating her work!

I also wanted to share how bloggers and blogging constantly amaze me. I had made friends with a fellow crafty Blogger Laura of http://creation-faeries.blogspot.com. She is from Romania and we struck it off so well right from the start - maybe as we are both mothers and crafters !Recently just like that I got a big parcel from her -- though I am an avid crafter as many of my followers may be knowing I dont own a cutting machine- so I was so delighted to find so many die cuts - My little assistant crafter [my 5 year old daughter] and I drooled over every precious piece .I dont know if I can bring myself to using any of the lovely stuff !Thank You so much Laura. Its my birthday this month and I think without knowing it she has sent me the best birthday present!
