Mothers Day Card

Fancy fold card 3
Double Twisted Easel card
My mother loves flowers and cards so made a special fancy fold card with handmade paper flowers for Mothers Day.
This card started out as a simple double twisted easel card[ like I have shared  in the Double twisted Easel card tutorial  and Roses Double twisted Easel card]  but then I went to town adding lots of layers ,leaves and handmade flowers.
My mom loves gardens and I made a 3 D garden fence by folding and rolling  the lattice into a half cylinder [similar to how I made the frames in the 3 D picture frame tutorial but I used double sided tape instead of foam tape here]

Fancy Fold Card
I used the Cheery Lynn Sunflower die to make the 3 different types of flowers .Added tiny Cheery Lynn butterflies on the  leafy flourishes which I actually cut and stuck to make different styles of leafy swirls[Here are is a tutorial link on How to make leafy branch]

The 2 Easels fold flat snugly against the lattice fence and can be propped up again on the triple layered lace Heart.Fancy fold card 4           I did not take photos while I was making the flowers but new visitors do take a peek at my Handmade flower tutorials  And hope you enjoyed this floral Fancy fold Mothers Day card.
And Thank you so much for the love showered on my daughter’s Egyptian Pharaoh Tutankhamen – I am so happy you want us to share more of the crafty stuff we are making for her Egyptian theme birthday—ha ha be ready to be bombarded with mummies and beetles in the coming days!
