Halloween Holder Trick or Treat !

Halloween Holder
Hi friends we dont have  Halloween in India but I have always been fascinated seeing all the gorgeous projects floating around blog-land during this season. My daughter loves the theme too and so I made this cutesy Halloween holder for her!
Halloween Holder
Its a recycled cardboard box I dressed up with Halloween themed pattern paper [DCWV The Four Seasons Stack] and lined with golden PoppyStamps swirly curl border die cuts .Added a glittery Cheery Lynn  lamp post and resin embellishments on a grassy terrain.
Halloween Holder
My daughter loves cute and scary stuff ...[hehe yes little girls can be a contradiction in themselves] and so I added a handmade clay bow to the resin witch!
Witch with clay bow
Made the clay skull using air drying clay and a mold and mounted it on glitter foam and made it into a charm by adding an eyelet and threading gold thread through it!
Handmade Clay Skull
The little pumpkin with treats is a resin embellishment

And a cute green monster! The little golden moon shapes you see scattered all over are the negative die cuts of the PoppyStamps swirly curl border die.How I love this die!

And seen below is another resin pumpkin treat holder in a different design  with a very apt sentiment " Trick or Treat"
Pumpkin
My daughter especially loved the clay skull. Since I am a doctor I always tell my daughter skulls are nothing to be afraid of even though people like to associate skulls with the horror genre!
Handmade Clay Skull
And this is the other side of the Halloween holder - with a funny looking cat popping from a pumpkin "Trick or Treat" .
Halloween Holder
I actually think the feline looks a bit "scared" with the wide eyed expression but my daughter exclaimed" Oh so cuuuute" on seeing it!
Hope you enjoyed my first ever Halloween Project

  9. I like the clay skull but mine would have to be without the bow since I'm a Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow fan and like Pirate & Skull things.

  18. That is really cute. Now that my kids are both grown I don't do much for Halloween any more. Last year I didn't even bother handing out candy to the trick or treaters
