Dear friends Thank you so much for dropping by! Excited to share that recently this blog crossed 5 million page views!! WooHoo I can't believe it!! And to celebrate I am hosting a giveaway with yummy prizes from some fabulous sponsors !!
When I started this blog in 2010 to share a few cards and school projects I never imagined it would become such a popular site!!

In fact I find it rather surprising and hard to believe due to a couple of reasons:--- [Hehe the numbering is my analytical brain at work!]
- I am not a professional or hugely talented crafter and create mostly simple unsophisticated projects
- I don’t have a .com website [they are supposed to get more traffic!]
- And I am not extremely active on social media!! [Apart from blogging I can handle just the occasional Facebook post when I am in the mood!]

But I do have nearly 200 tutorials on my blog and I get a good amount of traffic from Google because I give a bit of attention to simple search engine optimisation on my posts [you can read more about SEO and other easy blogging tips here: 8 Blogger Tips and 10 Tips to a better Blog].

But the main reason I am still blogging and this blog is clocking 5 million page views is that I have the most wonderful readers one could wish for:
- My treasured blog followers who constantly encourage me with comments on my blog posts- without your support this blog would have long ago bit the dust!
- Parents and teachers who email me telling me how the ideas on school projects helped them
- “Non crafters” who mail me to thank me how a tutorial helped them to make a handcrafted gift for their loved one
- Bloggers who link to my tutorials and make all the time and effort put into writing tutorials totally worth it!
- And crafters who flatter me by telling me I am their inspiration to craft and even start blogging!
To celebrate with all of you I am hosting a giveaway which will last the whole month. And here are the details:-

- Anyone can enter but you need to have a gmail account in order to "Follow My Blog" [that is you need to log in to your gmail account and while logged in to your Google+ profile click the blue "Join this Site" rectangle bar on the widget with all the lovely faces on my sidebar]

Tinka blogger has been acting really weird and has been unfollowing us from blogs. Even at office I log onto your site and its gorgeous.I learn little things from your site and now arranging a work space to become serious. Initially i thought that i wont try my luck then I thought I should. Even if I am not lucky I am happy for you and the winners. Most of the stuff that you have in India are not available in Sri Lanka. I am going to NZ taking my little grand daughter to give to her mum . So I hope ai will get a chance to visit Ms Meetus craft store. Now I have a small purse which i take with all the things to do my wok. My daughter is celebrating her 26 birthday and Iam planning to do a card with a chocolate wrapper she sent me. I also got some inspiration from your cards. These days trying my hands at pop up cards. You just Cleary say the pros n cons of the products. You have proved that there is nothing which is waste in the hands of a crafter even if it is ugly, it can take birth to a beautiful piece. There is not a single thing in the eyes of an artist which is useless.Many doesn't like to share the information with others mainly when it comes to arts n crafts.but you are so generous n lovely n they way you explain n the language you use is so simple to understand even by a non crafter.
