| Butterfly Tag |
Have you ever bought a craft supply which you let sit for months without touching? Haha I bet you did!!
Well Perfect Pearls is one such item which I bought and hardly ever used though it is such a lovely product!!

| Stencilling |
Stencils are so popular in crafting now that I decided to use Perfect Pearls with Stencils.
Here I sponged on a
woodgrain design using
Vintage Photo Distress Ink and
Carabelle Studio Effet Bois stencil on a
Poppy Stamps die cut tag.

| Wood-grain Stencil and Distress Inks |
Replaced the stencil over the design and swiped the p
erfect medium over it in random areas....you dont want to cover the whole design as it can become overwhelming! Brush on perfect pearls and set with a mist of Lindy's pearlescent or water. I used 2 colors and loved the effect!

| Heat Embossing |
Stamped and heat embossed a lovely
Heartfelt creations butterfly and colored it with
Distress Ink to add to the tag.

| Heat Embossing Butterfly |
I heat embossed the "FLY" alphas in the same gold embossing powder as the butterfly and layered it on a butterfly patterned ribbon.

I used my favorite
Poppy Stamps Pinpoint Main Street Tags die to quickly add a matting layer, set an eyelet and added a twine through it to complete my Butterfly Tag!

This is just so lovely & elegant! I have perfect pearls, I use them every once in awhile.
