Stretching Your Supplies
Hi friends the past few days I have been making cards with just one motive...to have pure simple fun without worrying about how grand the card should look or how unique and wonderful it should turn out!!
Participating in the Winnie and Walter World Card Making Day Challenges certainly liberated me !!!
For the WCMD 2016 CASE with Lydia Challenge I decided to  case Heather Hoffman's card

Heather used an awesome Pennant stamp set to create her lovely  Christmas tree.Since I dont have a lot of stamps in my stash , I improvised
Stretching Your Supplies
I die cut a  Poppy Stamps pine tree and heat embossed the gorgeous faceted circle stamp from Winnie and Walter True set and water colored it with Distress Inks  .

Heather used a striped pattern paper background for her card and since I didnt have one in my stash, I created my stripes using a Tim Holtz stencil and Distress Ink on my favorite die cut base using Winnie and Walter  Essentials Audrey Cutaways . I have been using this die so frequently that matting and layering it comes effortlessly now!!

It is so simple to look at but it sure did make me happy  especially after I added my sparkling glittery "Joy" !! What do you say my friends?
