Hi friends my daughter's current favourite colour is purple and I altered this box for her using a lovely purple paper from Stamperia.

I added a die cut Peacock , lots of purple butterflies and shaker elements. Made a shaker using the Fuse tool. I seem to get a hit or miss result with the fuse tool and this time it was a big miss as the edges turned out ghastly .

Rather than throw it into the bin I managed to somewhat salvage the project by adding purple glitter strips on the edges to create a frame! Hehe glitter truly can salvage many a crafty blunder...what do you say friends ....?

Isn't it funny how all girls seen to go through the purple phase, our Annabel did for years, I only discovered recently it's now blue, there agin she is 28!

Hehe I didnt know all girls went through the purple phase. It is remarkable how our favourite colours keep changing. I went through an all things black phase when I was a teenager!!

ReplyDeleteI'm not a teenager, but LOVE purple :D and I too have some of that beautiful Stamperia paper. Fabulous shaker card!! I too tried to make shakers with the fuse tool but it seems difficult to me find the right pressure to have a secure closing. You solved perfectly the gap with the glittered stripes!
