Mseal Art Flowers-Roses

Mseal Art Roses
I like working with Mseal as unlike paper there is a permanence to it and you can even wash it if it gets dusty! Here is an altered project we made. Its the same tissue paper holder on which we made the puppy and the turtle in an earlier post. On the other side we made Mseal Roses.

Here are the Mseal Roses and leaves before I painted them with acrylic paint.I like the unpainted flowers even. What do you say?

Here is the tutorial link :Clay rose tutorial even though its not exactly with Mseal. While working with mseal your hands tend to get sticky and its difficult to take step by step photos unless your assistant handles the camera [ my assistant is 5 years old!]

  3. This is so beautiful! I've never worked with this medium before but I am going to check out these links to see more! I understand how hard it is for your assistant to do the photos! My assistants have tried but the subject of the photo usually gets lost!

  8. It looks beautiful, Sonia! I must say I like the unpainted roses and leaves more than the painted ones! I can't explain why, I think because they look more like a sculpture like this. Looking forward to see the tutorial! I have some modelling clay and I would like to make something nice with it, but I don't know if it's anything similar to the Mseal.

I think I can understand why people like the unpainted better. it lloks like a decorative motif in a European palace
