2 Tier Swinging Box

Swinging Box
Hi friends one of my crafty resolutions for this year is to make home decor projects and crafty projects which can be put to use! This swinging box  is part of a stationary set I made to keep in my craft room. I hope you like it!
Altered Box
I am in love with the roses from the Winnie and Walter In Bloom Elsa's Flora Stamp Set and  heat embossed water colored and fussy cut several rose images to create the  3 D decoupaged multilayered rose! Here is the tutorial to make a 3 D Stamped Rose : 3 D Decoupage tutorial
3 D Decoupaged rose
Added water colored heat embossed leaves and some punched leaves [ tutorial for these easy leaves : How to Jazz up your Leaves] and sprays of pearl to create a simple floral arrangement.
Heat embossed roses and leaves
I took inspiration from Taheerah's image Challenge at Winnie and Walter to add floral elements in pink, gold accents, a tinge of green and cream and the geometric elements on the floor interpreted as the design of the box!
Golden Heat embossed Butterfly
The box has 2 halves with swing apart and has water colored butterflies on each half.
Butterflies and Roses
Stamped leaves partially "over the edges" in dark mossy green to match the colors on the pretty pattern paper [ from Indian company Papericious- they have the most beautiful floral papers!]
Swinging Box
On opening, the box has 2 tiers to hold little knick knacks. Lined the little shelves with the same pattern paper and added glitter paper strips to coordinate the inside of the box with the outside
2 Tier Box
I love these swinging type of boxes. Though this one is a box I altered you can actually make one from scratch too. Here is a tutorial to make a Swinging Multifold Box : Folding Box tutorial
Swinging Box
The shelves fit perfectly together on closing in a diamond shaped box!
