Altered Pen stand

Altered Pen stand
Hi friends this is the matching pen stand to the Swinging Box I shared in the earlier post. Lined a rotating pen stand with floral pattern paper, stamped leaves on the edges and added a layered butterfly and  2"Happy" hearts!

For this project I kept the embellishments simple as I wanted both the pretty paper and the embossed golden watercolored heart to shine!

Added glitter strips on the upper and lower borders to match the colors of the pattern paper and hearts.

I love to make Pen stands and over the years have made many to gift to my daughter's teachers. This one however is going to stay at home and houses a few of my most loved metal embossing tools in it!
