Poinsettia Christmas Ornament

Poinsettia Ornament
Dear friends first of all I want to tell a big THANK YOU for the amazing support and encouragement on my Faux Cake Project...blogger pals are the best!!
This Christmas Poinsettia Ornament was made specifically to support the generous and kind Maureen's Rudolph Day Challenge .
3 D poinsettia
My poinsettias were embossed in WOW sparkling gold powder and water-colored with Akashiya Sai watercolor brush pens .Layered 2 flowers atop each other to create a 3D poinsettia
Supplies
Heat embossed a Hero Art background stamp in gold and die cut it with the  Sizzix Movers and Shapers dies shown above.Though the dies themselves are straightforward I tend to get the lettering upside down most of the time!!
Inlaid Die Cutting
Also die cut glitter paper and used the inlaid die cutting technique to make the "Wish" on my ornament
Christmas Ornament
I hope you like my simple Christmas Ornament with handmade stick pins and a bit of broken jewelry recycling!

Supplies : Dies :   Sizzix Movers & Shapers Wish  , Sizzix Movers and Shakers Carved Ornaments  , Marianne Designs Anja Leaf 3
Stamps : Winnie and Walter In Bloom Elsa's Flora Stamp Set , Hero Arts background stamp
Coloring media : Akashiya Sai watercolor brush pens , Distress Inks
Embossing : Ranger Heat Embossing Gun, WOW Sparkling Gold, Ranger Gold

  4. Like how the WISH die was used inlaid in the ornament. Tim Holtz is so creative with the magnet style dies that you can do this with. Have a BEE-utiful day!
