Mini Album with Easel Box

Easel Drawer Box
Hi friends sharing a special handmade gift- and Easel Card Drawer Box with a Mini Album within it. The base of the card was made using dies from Tonic Studios[ a gift from a dear crafter friend from the UK.. Ayoti Mittra]
I made all the flowers you see using various dies and foamiran!
Banners
The banners were made with the new Dress My Craft punches Shalini launched the Crafters corner and they were so handy to add quick embellishments in the form of the fan and the traditional banner.
Dress My Craft Triple Punches
I made all the beaded sprays using beads, a bit of wire and floral tape!
Beaded Sprays
Here is the Tutorial to make  beaded sprays to match your projects : Beaded Spray Tutorial . And here is another Tutorial to make Beaded Flowers
Punched Banner
I love how a bit of glitter helps to jazz up a project and I have used Dress My Craft Rainbow glitter randomly all over this project.
3 D Banner
It was so easy to use the Banner punch to make the 3 D banner...I just scored a strip of paper 1/4th inch apart on either side of where I would place my sentiment and after leaving 1 inch  on either ends of the score lines used the banner punch to create a banner.
3 D Banner
On folding the score lines you 'll get a lovely 3 D banner which pops up.

I made the drawer box using chipboard
Chipboard Drawer Box
I am not going into the details...it is a pretty straightforward box and the construction involves just a bit of planning, measuring and gluing!
Drawer Box
I planned the  drawer part in such a way that cardstock covered the chipboard pieces all around to give a neater finish.
Drawer Box
The drawer rests on transparent crystal flower feet and there are glittery butterflies with floral centres on the sides.
Drawer Box

To make the drawer pull sturdy...added an extra piece of pattern paper covered chipboard on the front and used long brads to secure the handle.
Drawer Box
Gessoed the metal handle and added a dangling purple crystal heart to match the theme of the project!
Easel Drawer Box
The easel part folds down flat to allow storage and mailing to a special someone!
Handmade Foamiran flowers
The draw opens to reveal a snugly fitting mini album. On the sides and inside of the draw are  stencilled  patterns created with gesso and Distress Inks  .
Mini Album
I made the Mini Album using dies from Crealies and Dress My Craft Floral Symphony Papers.
Mini Album
The octagonal shaped mini album opens out layer by layer into a flower shape! I designed this  type of Mini  earlier and here is the Tutorial link : Flip and Fold Mini Album Tutorial
Octagonal Flower Shaped Mini Album
Here is a super short 1 minute video showing the Mini

I have used the  new Scroll dies from Crealies with their text dies ...which are perfect for the pages of a mini.
Mini Album
The Celebrate  just had to have a wine bottle and cute wine glasses!
Mini Album
I used Rainbow glitter inside the banner sentiments.

Mini Album

You can use Distress Inks  in the shades of your paper to get those perfect sentiment banners!
Creating Matching Banners
I used purple and pink to match the color scheme of my project!
Mini Album Sentiments

Scroll Banners
On the "Believe" page...created a mini banner with tiny diecuts on a baby pink paper rope .
Banner
The tiny banners are layered banners and the   mini pearl heart just adds that tiny bit of extra cuteness!
Mini Album
The Mini is made of 9 octagons and can hold photos on either side of the octagons. It closes compactly and you dont need a ribbon or other type of closure unless you make the inner pages bulky.

I hope you liked this special project which would be a lovely gift for a young lady!
