Parchment Flowers |
Hi friends sharing a card with a medley of media including, parchment, velvet fabric, glitter foam , real dry flower seeds and metal.
|
Parchment Flowers |
I used the
Heartfelt creations Sun kissed fleur stamp and die cut set to make my flowers after stamping and heat embossing parchment with white embossing powder. The glittery green centers are beads!
|
Heat Embossing |
The Season's greeting was stamped and heat embossed using a Hero Arts stamp and the glittery snowflakes you see on the card are my favorite Memory Box die cuts. The ornaments were cut using a Sizzix die from metallic card stock on which I created the pattern using Alcohol Inks [ More on Alcohol Inks here :
Alcohol Ink Introduction,
Alcohol Ink Techniques 1,
Alcohol Ink Techniques 2]
|
Metallic Accents |
I bordered the embossed and inked Thinking of you with metallic accents sent to me by Vishakha. The lattice background of my card is a favorite poppystamps Meso background die.
|
Alcohol Ink and Parchment flowers |
The picture above shows how the alcohol ink and the heat embossed parchment sparkles! The green leaves are velvet fabric leaves from my local fancy store. I had so much fun adding the different types of materials in this card!

Hello Sonia. Beautiful card, as always.
ReplyDeleteLike the flowers & ornaments and so much more on this. I know what parchment paper is that I use for baking. Is this the type of parchment you used?
ReplyDeleteMelissa
"Sunshine HoneyBee"
Thank you Melissa. The parchment paper used for crafting is of a much thicker variety Melissa. In the local market here a thin variety is also available but that is not very good for 3 D flower making.
