Panda Watercolor Painting |
Sharing 2 paintings of Pandas done quite some time back[before my little one was born !]This one is a watercolor painting done using instructions from a book[sorry cant remember the title]

Panda Watercolor Painting |
The interesting forest background texture was achieved by painting with salt!

Panda Glass Painting |
The mamma -baby Panda pair is a glass painting ...such a soothing medium to work with.Design is a freebie from the net [lost the links as this was again done years back ]
Please do forgive the "amateur" standard of the paintings...I have no formal art training and these were just experimental fun projects !
Fabulous artwork, Sonia! You are a lady with many talents:) x

DeleteHi Dr Sonia,
ReplyDeleteyou are such a very talented lady. Such wonderful paintings. I do envy anyone that can paint. My mother and eldest sister both could draw and paint, but sadly I never inherited that from my Mum.
My Dad was looking at my blog and noticed your name and where you came from.
He said he was in the officer training college in Bangalore, I think I mentioned he was a Captain in the Indian Army during the 2nd world war.
Have a wonderful crafty day.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
Jenny I did love to paint at that point in my life but nowadays with a crafty and helpful 6 year old I simply cant tackle painting!!
DeleteThrilled to know your dad was in Bangalore!

ReplyDeletehahaha...i would love to see her help you :p
ReplyDeleteI hate to refuse her help and so I dont like to attempt "patience requiring" projects. She once even helped me in Parchment craft and I nearly got a mini heart attack with her helping me with the needle tools and delicate parchment!
