Giant Paper Christmas Tree

Giant Christmas Tree
Hi friends I have been playing truant from blogland and do forgive me! My daughter who is in 5th grade  was asked by her class teacher to bring a paper christmas tree to decorate the bulletin board in her class!
Origami Christmas Tree
We tried drawing a giant tree off hand but it wasn't so easy and after several unsuccessful attempts, we decided to make an Origami tree...a giant version of the ones I have shared here in this Paper Tree Tutorial
DIY Christmas Tree
We used large squares of chart paper to make our Giant Christmas tree . In fact making a giant tree was easier than the smaller version!! My kiddo  decorated it with die cut glitter foam ornaments, snowflakes and deers. And added quite a few glitter foam stars too. The tiny balls are thermocol balls and the lacy border was made using doilies!
DIY Christmas Crafts
My daughter literally spent a whole evening making her tree and she was soooo proud of it! It was a big big hit in her class and I even got a card from her class thanking me for helping them decorate their class!
Supplies : Dies :  Spellbinders 2012 Snowflake Pendant , Spellbinders 2012 Holiday tree ,Sizzix Stars Framelits ,Sizzix Card front Winter
