Heart Shaped Home Decor
Hi friends my country has begun a 21 day lock-down to combat the Corona virus situation and for me personally these are very trying times as not only am I an ENT Surgeon but so is my husband ; and my mom, who turned 73 recently, is an anesthetist. We are statistically in the high risk category for contracting the disease .
I know many of you across the world are in difficult situations and I can only imagine the challenges each of you must be facing in these unprecedented times.
In this post I am not going to post any advice.......I am sure you are getting enough of that from face-book and other social media.
I am just giving you a few seconds of diversion!
This is the gift I made for my mom for her 73rd birthday . My mom loves flowers and bright cheerful colours and loves decorating her home.
I made it using an MDF heart from Crealies . Covered the MDF with thin pattern paper
Stenciled bricks using crackle paste and the Crealies brick stencil .
Added lots of flowers made with Crealies dies and foamiran
I added one of my favourite sentiments " Celebrate" which may seem difficult in the present scenario but maybe we can "celebrate" life itself and remember to count our blessings in these trying times.
Added dark pink shadows in areas for highlighting
And added tiny pearls for texture
And here is how it looks
I made the matching card using the Crealies Cardzz Love die
Layered the "Love" shape using glitter foam and pattern paper and added heart shaped lock and key from the new " Mix and Match " die set.
I hope you liked my project .
Stay safe.
Ein Traum wunderschön

ReplyDeleteI can only thank you from bottom of my heart for all you people are doing to treat the patients, even if its highly risky ! My Salute 🙏
Thank you Pooja...in the present situation I feel all our gratitude should be towards the poor policemen and police women who are trying their best to keep people off the streets and who will play the most role in keeping people from landing up in the hospital beds!

ReplyDeleteWonderful creation. Hope you are keeping safe and well.
ReplyDeleteSuch amazing works full of love, Dr. Sonya, any sweet detail is a joy for the eyes and I'm sure your mum loves them so very much! Happy Birthday to her!!
ReplyDeleteHope that in your country doctors aren't doing the same italian error: don't pump oxygen in with mechanical ventilation, because there are pulmonary thrombi and so this fact makes people die. Here in Italy we have not more emergency (even if government keeps all us still in emergency with fear, to seize absolute power... we are having a very bad politics, social and economical time... our republic is at risk)
These are the treatments from the light to the strong, that work to win Covid-19. Step 1: Chlorchina. Step 2: Antivirals and anti-inflammatories. Step 3: Heparin and plasma.
Stay safe and well, and take care of your loved ones.
Big hugs
The details and the colors are stunning. Stay safe doc.
