Lacy Heart Shaker Card

Shaker Card
Shaker cards are such fun interactive cards and relatively simple to make! The very first card I shared on this blog at a time when I had no idea about die cutting , stamping , embossing and all our sophisticated paper crafting techniques is this  shaker card made for my daughter's 3 yr old friend! Do have a peep at it ...I am  curious to know what you think of it!
Shaker Card
Fast forward 5 yrs down the lane and here is a card created by stamping  and heat embossing a beautiful background stamp[ gifted to me by Shalini Mittal of Crafters Corner] and inking it with Distress inks.Made the "Heart Shaker" using a Nellie Snellen die and added a lacy Poppy Stamps swirly border die cut on it before adding the acetate/transparency.Here is the tutorial link to how to make a Shaker Card.
Heart Shaker Card
There are tiny pink hearts and pearls inside the heart which rattle gently on shaking the card! The "I love you" and porcelain white heart with wings were made with white hot glue and a silicon mold.[Here is the tutorial " Porcelain embellishment tutorial ]
Heat embossed flowers
The flowers and leaves were made by stamping and heat embossing the Heartfelt creations sun kissed fleur on vellum and die cutting it with the matching die set.Inked the flower centers with the same distress inks used on the heat embossed background .
Shaker Card
Added a favorite Sue wilson lacy bow topped with a pearly flower. The pearl sprays are handmade and the final touch is a little bit of netting over the floral bloom!
Heart and Flowers
I hope you like my lacy card.
Supplies : Sparkling Snow WOW embossing powder, Versamark watermark stamp pad, Ranger heat gun, Distress ink: Wild honey, Mowed lawn, worn lipstick.Dies: Nellie Snellen heart, PoppyStamps swirly curl border,Heartfelt creations Sun kissed fleur,Sue Wilson lacy bow [from Crafters Corner]Stamps : Heartfelt creations Sun kissed fleur, Hero Art background stamp
