Doll House Making at Do More with Less

Recycling Craft
Doll House Making
Recycling is something I have a lot of fun with . I made this Doll House for the guest blogger project at the super talented Yvonne's Do More With Less.Yvonne has an amazing blog and I am so honored and terribly flattered to do a Guest Blog Post for her !
You can recycle any box into a doll house! I had hoarded this  box box for over a year and finally we made into a doll house!
Doll House Making
Here is my young architect decorating her doll house
Doll House Making
We added handmade punchcraft flowers and some quilling as decorations. Added a pearl on a foam disc as door knob for the doll house.
Doll House Making
I used a Fiskars punch [ Thank You Priya!] to make the lacy roof of the doll house.

Doll House Making
My little one wanted the door to swing open and fortunately the cardboard was strong enough to withstand our architectural efforts!
Doll House Making
Her Disney princess dolls have a new home in our doll house.

Doll House Making
The dolls can peep through the dainty windows and see the punched flowers!

Doll House Making
Our roof has 2 pieces of corrugated card glued down in the middle with pattern paper. We added some homemade fabric bows and punchcraft flowers on our doll house roof.
Doll House Making
Here is a toothpaste box I had been hoarding which I converted into another house.Have to embellish it an make it into another doll house!
Doll House
These houses are quick and easy to make and I wanted to make a whole city of houses by recycling boxes but due to my burns adventure I had to settle for only one doll house.

How to recycle a Box into a House
You can recycle any box into a doll house in minutes by following this Doll House Making Tutorial.
Edited: I got to pick the theme and winners for the recycling challenge at Yvonne's blog
As the prize for the challenge instead of crafty stuff which may not be universally appealing,I thought I will feature the winner[s] on my blog.I have never featured anyone here before but realized that in blog land guest blogging is such a wonderful act of goodwill and friendship and I should continue the cycle !
Edited: This house won at Crafty Mess Challenge Blog
This recycled project won Top Sister at SISTERHOOD TOP SISTER AWARD in the recycling challenge
This Doll House was picked as the Top Pick at Tip Top Tuesday Spotty Dotty Challenge

I am also thrilled to say our house was Top 2 Pick at Use it Tuesday
