Giveaway from Itsy Bitsy |
Itsy Bitsy has a manufacturing unit in Bangalore providing livelihood to hundreds of rural women and they are famous for their fabulous handmade embellishments which they export to other countries as well.
So for my giveaway I requested Rashmi the owner of Itsy Bitsy to give some classic Itsy Bitsy products and she has very kindly donated crafting goodies worth 4000 rupees for one lucky reader!
This includes the beautiful embellishments in the picture above and the gorgeous jute sheets, MDF alterables and the beautiful Itsy Bitsy decoupage papers in the picture below.

Giveaway from Itsy Bitsy |
It is a well known psychological fact that shopping can make one feel good! Well ,while some people may go shopping for clothes or shoes to "feel good" I guess many crafters get their monthly dose of euphoria by shopping for craft supplies!
|
Itsy Bitsy RMV Bangalore |
I am lucky to have the largest Itsy Bitsy store just half an hour's drive from my clinic and for my giveaway post I got special permission from Rashmi to share a few pictures and give you a visual tour of my favorite craft store...the Itsy Bitsy Branch at RMV Bangalore.
|
Itsy Bitsy RMV Bangalore |
Itsy Bitsy has a huuuge collection of different types of papers thai paper, moonstone paper, felt, foam , glitter paper, handmade paper, satin paper etc apart from pattern paper...uuf sometimes I visit Itsy Bitsy just to stare at the racks of paper!
I am not into jewelry making but who wouldn't love this "bead bar" of neatly organized beads !
|
Bead Bar Itsy Bitsy RMV Bangalore |
And sewing supplies...
|
Sewing Supplies Itsy Bitsy RMV Bangalore |
A section just for brads and eyelets...yummy colors!
|
Brads, Ribbons |
This one is for the stamp lovers!
|
Stamps, Ink Pads |
And stencils for different themes!
|
Stencils |
My favorite section---flower making supplies
|
Flower Making |
And rows and rows of craft supplies for children- pom poms, pipe stem cleaners, shells, ice cream sticks, thermocol, glitter....
|
Itsy Bitsy RMV Bangalore |
Another section I like to haunt-- the baking supplies section where I pick up molds and clay / fondant cutters!
|
Baking Supplies |
For the quilling enthusiast...
|
Quilling Supplies |
And imported supplies for the serious artist..
|
Artists Materials |
Itsy Bitsy staff at the RMV store have been responsible for me spending quite a bit of my bank balance there as they periodically call me up and tell me when something "new" arrives !!
The human mind is a funny thing...we don't always have to buy ...many a times especially for us crafters just looking at pretty things can make us feel nice... like how good I felt to just look at the
new Minc I saw at Itsy Bitsy!

ReplyDeleteI visited Itsy Bitsy in Panjim, Goa while we were on a holiday there, hehe...we actually drove a two-wheeler from Colva to Panjim(which is about 40kms) just because I heard there was an Itsy bitsy store there and I just didn't want to miss visiting it...crazy me..but, well, crafting has that kind of effect on us, isnt it? :) And I loved that they stock 1 mm width of Quilling strips, not found anywhere and a pain to cut ourselves. Thanks Sonia and itsy bitsy for this giveaway. :) Best wishes.
ReplyDeleteThis celebration just seems to be getting better day by day. And what lovely photos. I live in an area where there is nothing other than trees (seriously) so my craft supplies are either ordered online or I pick up when I go to pune or Mumbai. A few months back when I had gone to Pune I stumbled on an Itsy Bitsy store in Inorbit mall. And that was it. I had to go in. Had to explore (Ofcourse it wasn't as big as the one in Bangalore) but I was so glued that my husband and mom had to drag me from the store. And now with these new pics I am dying to come to bangalore and explore the store.
ReplyDeleteAn awesome gift to anyone who is in crafting coz it keeps everything from paper crafts, jewellery making, candle making, sea shells and what not. A absolute treasure house.
Best wishes!!
i love itsy bitsy for a variety of products they offer. thanks for the givewaway!!!
