Floral Easel Card

Hi friends sharing an Easel card I made with Crealies  dies featuring handmade  foamiran poinsettias ,and  various mixed media elements including handmade resin doves.

I love making flowers using foamiran and usually most flowers are time consuming but these were super simple to make...just die cutting , inking the  centers , adding the  pollen and topping off with a sprinkling of glitter.

I love how I can mix and match the  nesting dies of Crealies  as they all fit perfectly together. In this card I used 4 types of circle dies sets and the die cuts from all these sets coordinate perfectly!

I made the  cute doves using resin and a Martha Stewart silicon mould.

Added tiny white and pink "flower pearls" inside the  circles...these always add a lovely texture to a project!

Added "Celebrate" as the  sentiment and a tiny resin bow to finish it off!

3 D Pop Up Christmas Card

3 D Pop Up Christmas Card
Hi crafters...I hope you are all geared up for the festive season! I am sharing a fun adorable card made with Crealies Cardzz dies...these are my favorite Crealies dies as they are unique and really huge...you can make standalone cards and 3 D projects using them!
Sharing a 3 D pop up card which folds completely flat for mailing.
3 D Pop Up Christmas Card
The Xmas tree folds flat and becomes  3 dimensional when you pull on the sled . The sled is made of 2 die cut pieces joined by pop up tabs on which I added the penguin family [fussy cut from a pattern paper]. The tree is attached to the pop up tab on the sled and that is how it becomes dimensional on pulling the  sled.
I dressed up the  sled with Crealies poinsettias and added cute candlesticks [with the  candle and flame glittered up] on the  Xmas tree.

Xmas Word Cards

Hi friends...sharing some simple cards I made with new Crealies Xmas word dies. These are really big and perfect to make simple quick cards.
Xmas Word Card
I added a "floating" 3 D Christmas tree beside the  "Xmas" by adding it  to a  sheet of acetate attached to Xmas card base.
Xmas Word Card
This one is more traditional with poinsettias and tiny Christmas ornaments.

And here are some simple stand- alone cards made with only the  Xmas dies.

Love how you can quickly whip up different variations by just mixing and matching papers.

Mini Snowman Shakers

Mini Snowman Shakers
Hi friends....sharing a mini Tutorial to make these fun mini snowman shakers which you can use as mini note-cards, tags, bookmarks, ornaments or even as fridge magnets...
In short they are so cute you can use them to make so many different handmade gifts for the  festive season!
My daughter loves them but I am not sure she is going to gift them hehe!
Mini Snowman Shaker Cards
I used the   Crealies snowman die [ which you have seen in these posts : Snowman Snowscape card, DIY Snowman Ornament, Snowman Circle Card, 3 D Christmas Card] to quickly make these little snowmen by mixing and matching colors. The hats are made out of shiny black glitter foam and I mixed different pattern papers to make the  scarves.
Snowman
Use circle dies to create the shaker bodies for the  snowmen.  I used Crea-nestlies XXL Circle dies from Crealies but you can also hand-cut the  circles...die cutting just makes your job super easy.
Snowman Shakers

Tape 2 cirle dies as shown to die cut circle frames of a reasonable width.

Snowman Shakers
You can use double sided adhesive foam or die cut 2 foam discs to create the wall for your shaker.
Also cut a circular frame in paper to layer atop.

Snowman Shakers
This is how your shaker wall will look with the layers glued on top of each other.Cut an acetate circle and sandwich it between your foam disc wall and the  paper disc as shown below.
Snowman Shakers

Also cut a solid circle from pattern paper and cardstock for the base of your shaker.

So here are the  parts of your shaker snowman: circular foam frames with
acetate sandwiched and base circles.

I added a silver glitter foam snowflake to the base of the shaker. Add glitter balls, styrofoam snow balls, tiny stars or whatever else you fancy inside your shaker.
Mini Snowman Shakers
I love traditional Christmas Colors but you can go crazy and make flamingo pink shakers too!

Mini Snowman Shakers
Crafty Tip : Don't be tempted to add too many shaker elements in your shaker or it will not shake nicely!

Mini Snowman Shakers
Glue the base over the shaker and let it dry nicely.
Finally glue on your snowman on to its shaker body and voila you have your shaker snowman !

I add a backing so that my snowmen could stand.

You could add jumbo paper clips, magnets or ribbon hangers to them and use them in different ways.

Explosion Pop Up Card

Explosion Pop Up Card
Hi friends...sharing a fun Pop Up Card perfect for the  festive season as it folds flat for mailing and packs a punch when you open it!
Explosion Pop Up Card
The folds are origami folds...tricky to get right the  first time you try it [ I followed a tutorial from Mixed Up Crafts to make it]!
Explosion Pop Up Card
I die cut cute little presents from metallic paper to make the  present. I love the  Presents die set from Crealies  and I think you can adapt the  same card design to make a cute birthday card.
Explosion Pop Up Card
I added a Merry Christmas to the  lower flap of the  card. I created my own pop up mechanism in the  center using 3 strips of card stock Here are the  Measurements and score guides
Score all strips on the  long side :
Strip A 3 x 4 inches : Score at 1/2, 2 3/4 and 3 1/2
Strip B 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 inches  : Score at 1/2, 2, and 2 3/4
Strip C 1 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches : Score at 1/2, 1 1/4 and 2
Explosion Pop Up Card
Mountain fold all the  strips at the  scorelines as shown

Pop Up Card
Strip A will go at the  bottom followed by Strip B and then Strip C. These measurements are just guidelines. You can fashion your pop up to fit the  theme and size of your central pop up.
