| Paper Tole |
Hi friends this is my last project for Becca's
Hop to Stop Domestic Violence Awareness Campaign. It is a subject very near to my heart and I am in a way saddened the hop is ending in a few hours. Like many of you due to various reasons I too cannot do as much as I would want to for causes dear to me but I am happy that Becca's hop gave me a chance to express myself in a small way and if the messages reach at least one person ...it would be fantastic!

I kept a
Paper tole otherwise called
3 D decoupage rose the focal point of my card...the image was a freebie from the net I had saved long before I started blogging so sorry I dont have a link to credit the creator.
I felt the cloudy pattern of the gorgeous purple
enamel embellishments is symbolic to the theme...our lives can be so cloudy and muddled at times....

But life can be so beautiful and clear at other times! The white woven background and the layered Joy crafters lace border are so beautiful !

ReplyDeleteDivya paper tole or otherwise called 3 D decoupage was very popular a couple of years back before dies etc became popular...you basically cut an image multiple times and layer it ...the top images being gradually smaller than the lower ones. It is painstaking work and can take a toll on your fingers but quite therapeutic and the effect is beautiful

It has so much detail and so many different elements, I'm really blown away!! I can imagine being a Surgeon you must be very good with your hands, it certainly shows with this card. So wonderful to know that you must get a little down time from your job, so you can create these incredibly beautiful cards!!
