Sunburst Card

Sunburst Card
         I had wanted to try the sunburst technique for quite some time and when I saw the Challenge at Unstampabelles was " Sun with Gold" I jumped right in. Creating the sunburst was actually much more difficult than I had anticipated!             To balance the bright golden color of my metallic gold card stock I used a "Popcorn" paper [DCWV snack stack] in between!

 The golden peacock feather was cut using the  Spellbinders Jewel Fantasies die.

         Kept the card quite simple as I wanted to keep the focus on the sunburst and added a Sun sequin which I layered on a circle and a golden snowflake whose spokes looked just like the sun's rays!
Hope my readers are enjoying the different styles of creations I am sharing these days!

      Hehe Pooja...I had been hoarding the DCWV snack stack papers without using them and using the gorgeous "popcorn"pattern paper is part of my new mission to use up stuff!
