House Pop up card |
This House pop up card is a "Thank you " card made as part of my Guest DT project for
For Fun challenges. The digital stamp I was given was a cute Paper shelter image and the theme is "Thanks or Thank You ".
|
House Pop up Card |
I gave the little girl a snowy setting with a snowman and reindeer for company outside her house!
|
Snowman Pop up card |
Here is the closeup of the pop up card house. I enjoyed making this house pop up card as I didnt use any template but designed my own pop up. Shall share how to make the house pop up card in my next post.
|
House Pop up Card |
I made a chimney and an arched door for the house and decorated it using stars punched from scraps of paper.
|
House Pop up Card |
This is a Thank You card plus Christmas card for my daughters class teacher
|
Thank You Card |
I love the dimensional nature of these plastic cube letters and I layered them on red punched stars to contrast with the white background.
|
Thank You Card for Teacher |
Since this is a card for my daughters teacher I tried to make it special on the front too.I made a shadow box card with a 3 D wintry scene .The aperture is handcut and hence the crazily jagged edges!
|
Shadow Box card |
Tried making a ribbon bow which turned out looking like a flower!!
|
Ribbon Bow |
I love making this type of paper Christmas tree as its quick ,folds flat and is 3 dimensional.
|
Origami Xmas tree card |
For the christmas decorations I stuck silver ball garlands on the "snow".The green Christmas trees on the border and popping up on the snow are punched ones.
|
House Pop up card |
The house pop up card is such a versatile pop up - you can use it for a housewarming card, a moving away card, a Christmas card, a birthday card and what not! Here is the Tutorial on
How to design your own House Pop up card .
